Rooms, A Barma Drola

The room
Spruce

The Spruce and the Alders are two corners of the house that have been completely rebuilt following a collapse. Both thrive in shade and near water, providing shelter for animals, and tell the story of simple mountain life. Beneath the low-hanging branches of the Spruce, fallen needles were gathered with a small rake: soft and fluffy, they were used as bedding for the calves.

A stay in the countryside

Beneath the branches of the fir tree

The fir tree is evergreen, its beauty unchanging. Yet life lies hidden at the base of its trunk: roe deer take shelter there, black grouse are startled and fly away, and the sound of their flapping wings remains etched in the memory. Walking with my father along the paths towards Colle Ranzola, every detail has been forever imprinted in my memories.
