This room tells the story of my childhood and my upbringing: the Scots pine is part of the house where I grew up. Today, there seems to be nothing left to remind me of it, except for the light that streams in in the morning, soft and warm.
A stay in the countryside
The Scots pine
The stove, my father’s chair, the table where I used to write to my girlfriend as a boy… all of it now lives on only in my memory and in that light. Looking out, the rooftops and mountains take me back to what life was like within these walls.
